Pop star and ’90s darling Aaron Carter appears to be spiraling as of late, of which many believed his big “medusa Rihanna” face tattoo to be proof. But he isn’t slowing down on the ink, and he recently took to Instagram to show off four new face pieces, the biggest of which is a large blue butterfly above his right eye in honor of his late sister Leslie Carter, who died at 25 from a drug overdose in 2012.Â
“Life is such a valuable learning lesson, IF you [allow] it to be that,” Carter wrote on Instagram. He added that his sister was someone he admired, and he “always wanted to make her proud.” He added, “Leslie I know your [sic] in paradise. I do feel you inside,” he added. “The things you taught me and your favorite color being blue you were a Gemini and you were fearless.” Alongside his butterfly tribute to Leslie, he also got the word “Freedom” on his forehead, “Karma” above his left eye, and his son Prince’s name under his right eye.Â
